What do you love about working at Tillotts?

Everything! Tillotts UK is my baby, when I first joined as general manager in July 2012 there were three employees including me, and sales were less than £250,000. Now we a thriving business with 40 employees and sales above £25 million, it has been and still is an exciting and exhilarating place to work.  At Tillotts we work hard and have fun, we enjoy working together as a team and are all proud of our achievements

What is your favourite quote?

“The main thing, is to keep the main thing, THE MAIN THING!” This is a quote from Steven Covey – it reminds me to keep my focus on the main opportunity and not to get diverted, it is too easy to lose focus and get distracted. 

Who is your greatest role model?

I have various role models for business situations and challenges, but one challenge I have and always failed to overcome is that I cannot sing and I love to sing, my singing role model is and has always been Freddie Mercury.

The people I work with are a brilliant mix of creativity, positivity, professionalism and good fun.  The company is growing strongly which presents many challenges and opportunities – there is never a dull day.

What is your favourite food?

Vegemite on toast

Who inspires you most?  

My 7 and 5 year old boys with their curiosity, energy and love of life.

Working with friends, building something meaningful and making a difference to patients and the NHS

Long dog walks and discovering new things to cook

Having worked at Tillotts for six years now, I very much love the “family culture” that runs through Tillotts UK. We are a very caring organisation, and I enjoy working hard, as a company we have lots of fun and as we continue to focus on our crazy goal “To be the preferred partner in GI health with a market leading portfolio and reputation”

What is your favourite animal?

My favourite animal has to be a Cat, as my wife tells me this is my favourite animal. In all honesty, I am really a K9 admirer myself first and foremost.

What do you love about working at Tillotts?

As a small but growing company, everyone knows everyone and it really does feel like a big family. Within my role, no day is the same and there are always opportunities to take on new challenges and make a positive impact. I love working in a company which is so passionate about making a difference to patient lives.

What do you love to do when your are not working?

I love travelling, and exploring the world from new angles, whether scuba diving to the bottom of the ocean or parachuting through the sky. I also enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews and teaching them all the things an Auntie should! 

What do you love about working at Tillotts?

I have only been at TPUK for a short while, but already I can see how supportive everyone is of each other. It is already very apparent to me that everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional, all working together to achieve the company goals.

What is your favourite film?

There are so many films I love, but the one I can put on again and again and never get bored of is Top Gun. It’s not exactly high-brow, I know!

What do you love to do when you are not working?

Outside of work I love spending time with family, my husband and I have 2 children and at weekends we can usually be found out and about at parks, or riding on Derbyshire cycle tracks, trying to wear them out!

What do you love about working at Tillotts?

I love working at Tillotts for many reasons.  One is the friendly and motivating working environment in which I work, where everyone’s ideas are listened to and considered, and everyone is made to feel like a valued member of team.  I also love that I can work flexibly, so that alongside having a career I am also able to spend quality time with my daughter.

It would be my beagle Barney, although he can be very naughty at times!

The interest and variability of my job, the people I work with and being proud of our achievements.
